This A4 pastel pad contains 6 shades of grey paper. These colours work well for pastel, charcoal and graphite drawings. This paper has a rough, grainy surface with a good pigment uptake making it ideal for sketching and drawing, particularly where shading and highlighting techniques are used.
Winsor & Newton's pastel paper has a high cotton content and is dyed while in the pulp stage. This results in even colouration and good lightfastness while the strength and texture of the finished paper are preserved.
